Geom. Pierangelo Crespi

Pierangelo Crespi ( class of 1956) graduated as a quantum surveyor at the Carlo Dell’Acqua institute in Legnano, Novara in 1975, he immediately entered the working world at a design studio for large industrial plants, in 1980 he began working as a construction site assistant for the construction of an important plant located in Libya, where he quickly found himself managing a construction site with over one hundred operators. In 1982, after completing the project, he returned to Italy and began working for a large company in Milan as a site manager with which he followed the construction of countless condominiums, villas, gyms, schools, bridges, theatres and the renovation of a large and old building which will later become an important exhibition hall and a library.

In 1997, the decision to start up on his own with the immediate opening of a small company, which specialized in construction and prestigious renovations and which grew very quickly over a few years which led it to become a renowned company in the area for specialized quality work. Countless interventions have been carried out over the years also for large companies such as (Scottex, Lidl, BPU Banca, Banca Intesa) to name but a few, as well as numerous interventions for private villas and apartments. Some works have also been published in important sector magazines. In 2012, the chance meeting with Madeleine Morgan of Dreamhomes flamed the beginning of a new collaboration which has already led to several renovation projects on Lake Iseo.

“In May 2018 we purchased our apartment on Lake Iseo with the invaluable assistance of Madeleine of Dreamhomes. We wanted to make some internal adjustments to make the apartment better suit our requirements. The adjustments involved:

– extending one bedroom into a hallway and getting custom made furniture installed to also act as a divider within the room
– extending one bathroom and shortening another bathroom (by moving a separating wall). This also involved the installation of new bathroom furniture/equipment and revised plumbing and electrical works.
– adding decking to a roof terrace.

The project was managed by Madeleine including:

– Introducing us to an architect, Sara, who provided several drawings to help us choose our preferred layout.
– assistance with the selection of furniture and equipment
– recommending and managing the tradesmen who carried out the alterations

All this took place while we were back home in Scotland, with regular updates including photo’s at all stages, so when we returned to Italy in Late June the project was completed. I don’t think we would have made the adjustments without Madeleine advising on trusted professionals and tradesmen to complete the project and also managing the project in our absence.  We were very happy with the results and a couple of small issues since have been rectified very quickly.”
