Sulzano – Lake Iseo – Peter & Peter – ‘Water Retreat’

Description of Works:-
This water-front apartment was in need of a full renovation as can be seen by the photos. The kitchen was a small hub and the living area very dull, the bathroom was to the rear of the property and there were two bedrooms. When the clients saw the apartment if it was not for the location, right by the water, I think they would have run for the hills. That said, we all put on our thinking hats with the clients and completely transformed the internal and the living space into something quite beautiful and elegant, I think you would agree. The clients only needed one bedroom so we divided the areas into a separate kitchen/dining room and a lovely relaxing lounge/living area. We played with mirrors on the sidewalls of the windows so the lake was visible at every angle. We completely changed everything apart from the window shutters and the front door.

“A Gamble with Big Rewards”
In 2018, we were lucky enough to take a big risk buying a house in the most wonderful of places- Lago di Iseo. We rolled the dice, so to speak when we chose a property that required a full renovation. Despite feeling somewhat nervous, we moved forward after seeing the magnificent numerous homes that Pier, Madeleine, and Sara already completed around the lake. From the beginning, the team was very professional and exceptionally organized in the project presentation.
What unfolded next fully exceeded my expectations. Careful planning and meticulous execution of the proposal occurred at all stages, but even more important was the consistent communication along the way and the team’s concern about the quality of the work and the ultimate furnishings.
The end result was a home more stunning than we ever imagined. We are so eternally grateful to the team. So much so that we plan to work on another exciting new project with them
