Interior Designer and Home Stager

The passion for real estate – both in the rental, sales and investment market has always been a strong motivator in my professional career. My work has always lead me to select apartments or villas that are adaptable to both a tourist, second home investment and residential market.“The home is the mission of my passion and my passion is the engine of my life”.

For this reason, the desire to start the Home Stager profession was to me, a natural evolution of my business and it allowed me to transform my passion into a profession.

Home staging a property permits me to make custom-made homes adaptable for my clients use and in turn give them a gift of emotions realizing the dream of their lives.

This represents a new challenge for me, combining my twenty years experience in the tourism sector with Home Staging and Interior Design, to form a new profession “Tourism Staging”.

The service that I offer to customers who either intend to make an income from their property or become Tour Operators themselves is a ” turnkey package”. I propose to utilize the flavour of the diverse territories coupled with the costumes and customs of each location to enhance the property to its full potential and train the homeowner or tourist operator in the art of hospitality.

I work primarily in close proximity with Real Estate Agents who introduce the profession of Home Staging in their list of services as well as their marketing programmes.

This has the benefit of facilitating a sale or rental at the correct market value; My working ethos is “I believe that the only way forward is to work in synergy to obtain the best results”.

What they say...

“In May 2018 we purchased our apartment on Lake Iseo with the invaluable assistance of Madeleine of Dreamhomes. We wanted to make some internal adjustments to make the apartment better suit our requirements. The adjustments involved:

– extending one bedroom into a hallway and getting custom made furniture installed to also act as a divider within the room
– extending one bathroom and shortening another bathroom (by moving a separating wall). This also involved the installation of new bathroom furniture/equipment and revised plumbing and electrical works.
– adding decking to a roof terrace.

The project was managed by Madeleine including:

– Introducing us to an architect, Sara, who provided several drawings to help us choose our preferred layout.
– assistance with the selection of furniture and equipment
– recommending and managing the tradesmen who carried out the alterations

All this took place while we were back home in Scotland, with regular updates including photo’s at all stages, so when we returned to Italy in Late June the project was completed. I don’t think we would have made the adjustments without Madeleine advising on trusted professionals and tradesmen to complete the project and also managing the project in our absence.  We were very happy with the results and a couple of small issues since have been rectified very quickly.”
